IMM COLOGNE 2024 PRESENTS WOODNOTES AND NIKARI

At imm cologne 2024, which took place from 14 to 18 January, we visited our Finnish customers WOODNOTES and NIKARI. NIKARI presented itself for the first time at the trade fair. The Nordic purism and the use of very high-quality natural materials make the products unique.

The new collection by Vincent Van Duysen was presented at Maison & Objet in Paris. Inspired by Japanese design principles, this collection is an ode to purposeful simplicity and the art of minimalism.

PRESS TRIP TO GRASSE FOR THE
TUBEROSE HARVEST

​

Tuberose harvest in the cultivation fields of Aurélien Guichard, the only perfumer who grows his own ingredients. The tuberose is a plant species from the agave genus. The flowers are white and strongly fragrant and form the raw material for "French Flower" by Matiere Premiere, for example.

Antwerp Design Week is a celebration of design and decoration, showcasing Belgium's most vibrant and diverse design scene. More than 30 design and decoration brands could be found within a radius of 25 kilometres. We were there with selected journalists and show you some impressions. MATIERE PREMIERE - BETWEEN PARIS AND GRASSE

Since May 2023, we have been looking after the Matiere Premiere brand - founded by the French perfumer Aurélien Guichard. The special thing about it: He cultivates his own roses in the Grasse region and is thus the only perfumer who grows his ingredients himself; regionally out of conviction and out of respect for nature in a resource-conserving and
environmentally friendly.

HAGANE – THE NEW COLLECTION BY DOMANI

ETHNICRAFT AT ORGATEC

ETHNICRAFT presented solid, timeless office furniture made of solid wood for the first time at ORGATEC. The demand was for flexible solutions that promote well-being and enable a better work-life balance. Learning from each other and discussing current challenges and opportunities together - this year's Orgatec offered numerous opportunities to do so. Ethnicraft surprised with idiosyncratic creations.

INTERNATIONAL GARDEN ACADEMY

DYCK CASTLE

 

On 22 and 23 June 2022 , an international garden symposium entitled "Back to the Future" took place in the Dycker Feld, where internationally renowned speakers gave new impulses on the subject of garden architecture and insights into their work. Our client ROYAL BOTANIA provided the perfect ambience with the "Calypso" and "Organix" lounges, where all participants were able to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere afterwards.

VINCENT SHEPPARD ON THE  MAISON&OBJET

STUDIO VISIT AT FABIAN VON SPRECKELSEN

Today we would like to present you, not as usual, news "Made in Belgium", but the artist Fabian von Spreckelsen, who designs unique products made of Corten steel for DOMANI. We visited him in his studio. Here he realized his latest and largest work to date, which is currently being shown in the "freitag1830" gallery in Aachen. A graduate of the Academie Beeldende Kunsten in Maastricht, Fabian von Spreckelsen now lives in Noorbeek (NL). Even during his studies, he was fascinated by metal as a material.

The current issue of the Materialist magazine shows the production site of the extraordinary DOMANI planters in Hungary in the small town of Pecs. Clay pots from DOMANI are not just handmade - each piece shows the unique traces of the palms, fingers and tools that give it its shape. It is a living vessel.
